What is HappyBean?

HappyBean is Innovate Accounting's tax compliance and bookkeeping platform for Canadian small businesses and the bookkeepers / accountants who serve them. It helps with HST/GST filing, payroll compliance, document collection, and regulatory workflows.

We currently run two systems side by side:

HappyBean Legacy ASP.NET Core + Angular In production multi-tenant via subdomain
HappyBean 2.0 (new) Python FastAPI + Next.js + Flutter R&D single deployed environment, customers being migrated

Both are multi-tenant — each customer (a "tenant") gets their own subdomain of happybean.app.
